Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said, “Tirupati is going to be developed as medical as well as educational hub in the forthcoming days.” CM Chandrababu inaugurated digital door number system in Tirupati on Saturday. Later, addressing a public meeting at Nehru Municipal High School grounds near Alipiri, Chandrababu said “We will make Tirupati as a number one smart city.
We will interlink the city with various national highways. 30 per cent cell phones in the country are being manufactured only in AP”. A massive rally was organised from NTR Circle to the public meeting venue. The Chief Minister also inaugurated mass plantation programme at ‘Nagara vanam’ at Kapilatheertham Circle. The digital door number system is said to be very unique which helps in finding the location very easily through GPS. One can use the system for any purpose which is being introduced for the first time in the state.
