After Telugu film actor and Jana Sena Party President Pawan Kalyan has criticised ABN Andhra Jyothi for abusing him and his family in connection with the Sri Reddy controversy, Andhra Jyothi Managing Director Vemuri Radhakrishna is now seeking legal advice on filing a defamation case against Pawan Kalyan and demand damages amounting to Rs 10 crore.
Earlier, Pawan Kalyan had slammed ABN Andhra Jyothi and especially Radhakrishna for being the stoogy of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and targetting him by exploiting the Sri Reddy controversy.
In this connection, Pawan Kalyan had posted a series of tweets accusing one and all and especially the media for playing up Sri Reddy’s comments abusing his mother.
Angered over this, Pawan Kalyan went to the Film Chamber and accused all media houses in this connection and especially the ABN for telecasting the issue of his mother for TRP rating.
Later, angry Pawan Kalyan’s fans who have attacked ABN’s media van outside the Film Chamber.
Pawan Kalyan then held discussions with advocates to take legal action against the persons who are behind the conspiracy against him.
Before that Pawan Kalyan took to the Twitter and called for the boycott of TV9, TV5 and ABN channels for abusing the mothers, daughters and sisters.
He then said people have to boycott these channels for making business out of nudity and profanity. Making business out of helpless sister.
Meanwhile, while participating in a debate on TV5 channel, Telangana Press Academy Chairman Allam Narayana said the issue (Casting Couch) has been taken up by people in the film industry and added that media held discussions or debates over the issue in the interest of audience or viewers.
He said for the first time Sandhya (social activist) has participated in the programme regarding casting couch victims.
Narayana then faulted Pawan Kalyan for behaving like a hero even after founding a political party.
In a related television interview, YSRCP Nagari MLA Roja alleged that the ruling Telugu Desam Party has been taking the advantage of yellow media to protect their alleged political activities and at the same time targeting the opposition parties by deviating from the main issues.
She then took a dig at Chandrababu Naidu and his son and minister Nara Lokesh.
Roja alleged that the two are behind the mudslinging campaign against YSRCP chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan.
Later, in a television interview, senior actor and BJP leader Krishnam Raju reacted in a diplomatic manner over the Casting Couch issue.
He, however gave an indication that Casting Couch may be in existence.
Meanwhile, after expressing apologies to Pawan Kalyan and then promising to never criticise the Mega family, the king of controversies and director Ram Gopal Verma targeted Jana Sena and Pawan Kalyan.
In his reply to Pawan’s questions on Twitter, RGV said he couldn’t understand the difficult theory that was proposed by Pawan who claimed the RGV joined hands with a few media organisations for indulging in conspiracy against Pawan.
