The two will submit their resignation to the Union Cabinet.

Later, Union minister Ramdas Athawale urged Chandrababu to reconsider his decision on the resignation of his partymen from the Union Cabinet.

Speaking to ANI, Union minister Ramdas Athawale said that it was not a good move to break away from the NDA government and appealed to Chandrababu to think about his decision again.

“I want to appeal to Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu that he must think over this decision once again for development of people of Andhra Pradesh. They should stay with NDA,” he said.

Earlier today, TDP MPs protested outside Parliament over special category status to AP.

Further, speaking on Chandrababu’s decision to quit the NDA government, Shiva Sena leader Manisha Kayande said, “Even before TDP, Uddhav Ji had clarified his stance. Two ministers from TDP are about to resign. BJP should’ve thought about it. Former NDA leaders had kept the alliance together. Now it’s overconfident. 2019 will be challenging for BJP.”
