Amit Shah Filed a Nomination

Amit Shah filed a nomination for Rajya Sabha elections from Gujarat on Friday.
Shah was accompanied by Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani and former CM Anandiben Patel. The BJP has re-nominated Union Minister Smriti Irani for the second seat. Balwantsinh Rajput is the third BJP candidate  who also  filed nomination.

Amith Shah is the President of the Bharatiya janatha party and he is closely associate with Prime Minister Narendra modi. He is playing a key role in Indian politics.

The last date for filing of nominations for Rajya Sabha from Gujarat, West Bengal and Madhya Pradesh is July 28.

The process of nominations began on July 21 and august 8th is the Election date.
