The Andhra Pradesh High Court on Thursday stayed the release of controversial movie “Lakshmi’s NTR” till April 3. Produced by Rakesh Reddy and Deepthi Balagiri, the film is based on events that happened after Laskhmi Parvathi came into NTR’s life. The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leaders have filed a petition at the Court alleging that the film isn’t a faithful representation of the family life of NTR and his family.
They also claimed that the film was made with the ulterior motive to destroy the character of TDP President and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, Chandrababu Naidu. The Civil Court of Mangalagiri has also ordered a stay on director Ram Gopal Varma’s film, Lakshmi’s NTR.
