In a reprieve, Andhra Pradesh Government today declared that all 10th Class students and Intermediate students are being passed without any examinations to prevent spread of Corona cases.
The AP government has cancelled all these examinations for the benefit of the students education minister A Suresh has informed to the press persons.
He said that as per directions of Chief Minister, Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, they have taken a key decision to pass all 10 th Class as well as Intermediate first and second year students.
The failed candidates of Intermediate are also getting passed by the state government. There will be no supplementary exams for Intermediate and failed candidates are also getting passed now he said.
This was informed by education minister A Suresh in a media conference in Amaravathi. He said that the decision was taken to protect the students from the Corona cases in the state.
As per the instructions of the Chief Minister, education department has taken this decision. AP followed Telangana, Tamil Nadu and Puduchchery Governments which opted similar decisions to give grading and cancelled 10 th examinations.
