Kotilingala Shivakshethra Peetam chief Shivaswamy has said the experiment and arrests of holy Swamiji were atrocious and expressed concern over the attacks on Hindu organisations. He called upon the people to observe blockade of National Highways in the two Telugu States on July 19. He said all the religious organizations would participate in the blockade.

Speaking to the media here on Wednesday, Shivaswamy said the Hindu Community would come on to the roads from July 29 to expose the irregularities taking place in Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD). He said ‘Chalo Tirupati’ program will be launched on the same day (July 29) after offering ‘Sare’ to Vijayawada Kanakadurgamma, with 30 Peetams’ chiefs. He also said they will walk for 30km every day along with 300 disciples and the Padayatra would continue for 15 days.

Shivaswamy said they will organize a huge public meeting at Indira Grounds at Tirupati on August 12 by bringing awareness among the people of 500 villages on Hindutva. He said some 100 Peetams’ chiefs would participate in the public meeting. He said already Brahmamgaru had said in his ‘Kalagnana’ about Tirumala affairs much before that and all roads leading to Tirumala would be closed and six dacoits would loot the ornaments of Srivaru. He also said doubts were rising after the announcement of TTD that the Srivari temple will be closed for nine days. He demanded that the State government appoint a committee and give confidence to the Hindu Society on TTD activities.
