Australia beat India by 7 wickets in the final Twenty20 International at Bengaluru. India were undone for a second straight T20I by the ‘Maxi Show’ as Glenn Maxwell scored an unbeaten 113 from 55 balls to take Australia past the 191 run target in the last over. Earlier put into bat, India scored 190 for 4 in the stipulated 20 overs. Skipper Virat Kohli top scored with 72 and remained unbeaten.
In his innings, Kohli hit six sixes. K.L.Rahul contributed 47 while Mahendra Singh Dhoni hit brilliant 40. Down at 3 for 74, 116 runs were collected by India in the last nine overs. For Australia, Behrendorff, Coulter-Nile, Pat Cummins and Short claimed one wicket each. India and Australia will next play a five-match ODI series starting from Saturday at Hyderabad.
