AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has decided to impose a complete ban on belt shops in the low and middle class people. The Chief Minister appears to have taken the decision eyeing the forthcoming elections of 2019.
The TDP government seems to have realised that it should gain some public support if it has to regain power in the state. In its three years’ rule, the TDP government had not taken any action against the belt shops. Now suddenly Babu announced it.
As the state would lose the helping hand of Venkaiah Naidu,Now he is contesting for Vice president as NDA candidate. That is why Chandrababu is devising his political strategy to gain confidence of the people in the state. So this might be the reason he is trying to get closer to Jana Sena founder Pawan Kalyan and seeking support.
It may be recalled that YSRCP president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy too announced that he would ban liquor on a phased manner if elected to power in 2019. This also keeping in mind Chandra Babu took the decision.
