In a tragic incident, a 21-year-old MBA student died on the ramp on Friday afternoon while practicing for a fashion show. The victim was identified as Shalini, a first-year student of AIMS Institutes in Bengaluru. She lived with her parents in Lakshminarayanapura near Srirampura. According to sources, Shalini had practiced several times on the ramp before she suddenly fell on her knees.
When the other students noticed that she wasn’t moving, they immediately rushed her to a nearby private hospital. However, the doctors declared her brought dead. Shashi Kumar, DCP (North) said that “The student died while practicing ramp walk for the fresher’s day celebration in her college.
Cardiac arrest is suspected to be the cause of death.” Peenya police have registered a case under Section 174(c) of CrPC in the matter. The police now are going through the footage of the surveillance cameras installed in the college.
