Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was admitted to the AIIMS here for a health checkup on Tuesday, a source at the hospital said. Nitish Kumar was admitted to the private ward of the All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) around in the morning, the source said. Mr Kumar has been suffering a bad cough and viral fever. Doctors suspect that the chief minister might have a lung disease known as Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease(COPD). A full check-up and diagnosis have been carried out, the reports of which are yet to be released. More details awaited.
