Biswabhushan Harichandan takes oath as Andhra Pradesh Governor

Sri Biswa Bhusan Harichandan took charge as new Governor of Andhra Pradesh in Rajbhavan today in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. His oath was administered by the AP High Court Acting Chief Justice Justice C. Praveen Kumar.

The AP Chief Minister, Y. S. Jaganmohan Reddy and his cabinet members, AP Assembly Speaker T. Seetaram and TDP Chief  N. Chandrababu Naidu and other dignitaries attended the ceremony. Biswabhusan Harichandan is the second Governor and the first one to be appointed exclusively for the state after the bifurcation in June 2014.
