CAG SUBMITS AUDIT REPORT TO TELANGANA GOVERNOR AND STATE GOVERNMENT

In accordance with Article 151 of the Constitution of India, the Comptroller and Auditor General of India is required to forward his ‘Audit Reports’ on the Accounts of the State Government to  Governor who causes them to be laid on the Table of State Legislature.

Report of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India on the Government of Telangana containing audit comments and observations on accounts and transactions pertaining to activities of ‘General, Social & Economic Sectors’, ‘Public Sector Undertakings’ and ‘Revenue Sector’ for the year ended March 2019 have been forwarded (both English and Telugu version) to the Government on  February 11  for laying in State Legislature.
