The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) issued a notice informing the students that the letter circulating on social media on the date for the Class 10 Maths re-exam is fake. Therefore, it must be ignored, CBSE said.
The fake letter claimed declared the date of re-examination as April 30.
Meanwhile, in its bid to tackle question paper leaks, the CBSE had introduced encrypted papers that were printed at the exam center just before the exam.
CBSE instructed the schools to ensure a secure room for a high-speed internet connection and printing of the papers.
With the result, the board exam held on Monday was delayed at some centers for some time.
