Telugu Desam Party President and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister is a worried man now after his recent one-to-one interaction in Vijayawada with Governor ESL Narasimhan, news reports said.
Narasimhan is said to have informed Chandrababu that the Bharatiya Janata Party-backed government at the center has concrete evidence that TDP’s Kamma politicians and businessmen are funding the Congress election campaign in Karnataka, the reports.
Also, the BJP is observing the Kamma community in Karnataka that is lambasting the saffron party over the special status issue immediately after TDP quit the NDA alliance, reports said.
Obviously, Chandrababu is seriously worried that the center could file a host of cases against him Polavaram, Pattiseema, and Amaravati.
Chandrababu now feels that unless he retains power in Andhra Pradesh next year and reduces BJP to zero in the state, he cannot fight the possible legal cases, sources said.
The Chief Minister fears that if he is relegated to the status of Opposition leader and either he or his family members are arrested, he will not receive any importance in the media that he is getting today, sources said.
Judging by the present conditions, it appears that Chandrababu has not covered his tracks sufficiently.
