Chandrababu inaugurates Polavaram Gallery Walk

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has commenced a new chapter in the history of Polavaram project today. Chandrababu inaugurated the Gallery Walk, as a part of Spillway, of the Polavaram project this morning. The CM who reached Polavaram in a helicopter from Amaravati walked in the Gallery along with family members. The ministers, MLAs, MLCs and other leaders accompanied him during the walk in the Gallery. On account of completion of the Gallery, The CM had earlier unveiled the pylon and visited the photo exhibition. Water Resources Minister Devineni Uma Maheswara Rao had earlier said, “This is a historic moment as one of the critical parts of the Spillway is ready. The gallery will help in monitoring the dam’s functioning and operations”. Three days from September 14, Chandrababu is going to take part in ‘Jalasiriki Harati’ programmes at Srisailam, Srikakulam, Vizianagaram and Vijayawada. On September 16, the Chief Minister will inaugurate Kondaveeti Vagu Lift Irrigation Scheme, constructed to divert as much as 5,000 cusecs of flood water from the capital villages
