Following an early morning teleconfernce with Telugu Desam Party members of parliament, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu informed Bharatiya Janata Party president Amit Shah over phone of his party’ decision to pull out of the National Democratic Alliance.
Chandrababu also inform Amit Shah that TDP is also withdrawing from the NDA Convenor post.
He also inform the BJP chief that TDP has already sent him a letter regarding his decision and also explaining the reasons behind the decision.
Chandrababu confirmed that the decision to pull out of NDA was unanimous during the politburo meeting held this morning in Amaravati.
Reacting to Chandrababu’s decision, Amit Shah is reported to have said,”We already know that TDP would be taking such a decision. So, what is there to say anything about it? Its your wish.”
Meanwhile, TDP MPs are expected to hold discussions with Trinamul Congress MPs and then take a decision regarding the YSRCP’s no-trust motion.
