AP CM Chandrababu Naidu launched ‘Mukhyamantri Yuva Nestam’ scheme at Amaravathi today and interacted with unemployed youth. Andhra Pradesh Government has commenced ‘Mukhyamantri Yuva Nestam’, an unemployment allowance scheme to provide Rs 1000 per month to unemployed youth in the state. The allowance will directly be credited in bank accounts of the selected beneficiaries through biometric authentication in a transparent manner.
The scheme will benefit 12 lakh youth in the 22-35 years age group from the state through registration of their details on the website. The Chief Minister said that the Yuva Nestam scheme was aimed to provide skill development to youth, self employment opportunities, apprenticeship through a tie up with various industries and unemployment dole of Rs 1000 per month. The State Government will train youth in the fields of their interests.
