Sam Pitroda on Friday apologised for his remarks on 1984 anti-Sikh riots. His apology came after Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders, Sikh organisations and Prime Minister Narendra Modi attacked Pitroada. Mr Pitroada said that his Hindi is not good and he meant ‘jo hua wo bura hua (What happened was bad) and not ‘hua-toh-hua’. He said that he could not translate ‘bura’ in his mind. He alleged his statement was completely twisted and was taken out of context.
