Filing of nominations for Maharashtra and Haryana assembly elections ended today. Scrutiny of nomination papers will take place tomorrow. In Haryana, a large number of candidates of various political parties and independents filed their nomination papers today. They included senior BJP leader Anil Vij, former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupender Singh Hooda, former Deputy Chief Minister Chander Mohan Bishnoi.
Congress leader Ranjit Chautala, who was refused ticket this time, has filed his nomination papers as an independent candidate.
