Fill up posts in Universities CPI to CM

CPI State secretary and former MLA, Chada Venkat Reddy today expressed displeasure that the universities are unable to discharge duties due to lack of faculty and staff.

In a letter addressed to the chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao fill up all the posts in the universities across the state.  The state government should not neglect the universities which are lagging behind in the teaching amid Corona pandemic period, he deplored.

The CPI leader expressed concern that 40 percent of teaching and others are lying vacant for quite some time. This is highly deplorable and the need of the hour is to take a call  he said. The CPI seeks the KCR Government to take an immediate call on filling up the vacant posts in the universities forthwith, he said.
