On Tuesday Chandrakant Parmar, a 27-year-old flight attendant jumped off the 15th floor of a highrise in Goregaon. He was found lying on his face, police said. A written note was found tucked into a pocket of the shorts he was wearing at the time.
“This is to inform whoever reads it I’ve taken my life completely at my own will. Nobody is responsible except me”, a note says.
Parmar’s brother, who lives in Uran in Navi Mumbai, has confirmed that the handwriting in the suicide note is his brother’s, said the police.
The police said that Parmar, who was single, worked for Jet Airways. He lived in Piccadilly-I Housing Society in Royal Palms Estate, sharing the flat with a roommate. His parents live in Rajasthan. Parmar had returned from a work trip on Tuesday. At 2.30 pm, he entered Summit Apartments in Royal Palms Estate complex, where he lived before and jumped from there.
