The actor-turned-politician, Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan participated in a road show in Kurnool. He addressed a huge gathering during his roadshow at Kondareddy Fort on the first day of his three-day tour in the district on Sunday. Speaking in the road show, Pawan Kalyan said that the name Kurnool brings to mind Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy, who revolted against British rulers.
“Reddy doesn’t mean only a caste. Reddy is someone who protects people. I do not have money, TV channels or magazines. People followed me not for money. Kanshi Ram is motivation for me. A small employee founded a national party. I set 25 years for my political journey. I do not believe in the election manifesto”, said Pawan Kalyan and asked the people to give a chance for a new leadership.
Pawan Kalyan reached Orvakal airport by a helicopter and travelled to the city by road. The road show began from C camp circle to Konda Reddy Fort. Pawan praised the importance of Konda Reddy Fort and said had it been in Greece or France, it could have become a world-famous heritage structure.
