There’s massive speculation in Tamil Nadu over superstar Vijay, who appears to have made his political ambitions clear. After superstars Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan, now actor Vijay has dropped hints that he may not be averse to entering politics. During the audio release of his upcoming film ‘Sarkar’, the actor stated that if he becomes the chief minister, he will work as a chief minister and not just act like one.
Speaking at the function held at the Sairam Engineering College in Chennai, Vijay spoke about his films Sarkar and ‘Mersal’ and said, “The special thing about Sarkar is that ‘Mersal’ had a bit of politics while the politics shown in Sarkar will be ‘mersal’ (amazing).”
Vijay added, “If I ever become a CM in real life, I won’t be acting as a CM but do my duties honestly,” the Tamil superstar said on Tuesday. The actor was responding to a question on whether he was playing the role of a CM in the film. “I will work towards rooting out corruption in the state if I become the CM.”
