In last poll attack, Rahul Gandhi challenges Modi to debate on corruption

Congress President Rahul Gandhi challenged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to engage in a debate with him on the issue of corruption and flayed him for not hiking import duty on apples. Addressing a public meeting on the last day of electioneering yesterday at Police ground in Himachal Pradesh’s Solan, the Congress president said, I am ready to engage in debate with Modi on corruption issues at any place.

He reiterated his allegations of Rafale deal being overpriced. He criticized Prime Minister for demonetisation and Goods and Services Tax (GST). He said the small and medium scale industrialists, traders and unemployed youth were adversely affected with demonetisation and GST. Congress President also flayed Prime Minister for not fulfilling his poll promises of hiking import duty on apples and providing 2 crore jobs every year.
