Massive rally to oppose Sabarimala verdict reaches Thiruvananthapuram

The Sabarimala Raksha Yatra, organised to oppose the Supreme Court verdict on women’s entry in Sabarimala temple reached Thiruvananthapuram on Sunday. The yatra, led by Antharashtra Hindu Parishath (AHP) started from Pandalam in Kerala on October 11. Pandalam is believed to be the birthplace of Sabarimala Ayyappa. The yatra concluded as it reached the Devaswom Board Headquarters.

Over 1000 devotees took part in this march. VHP leader Pravin Togadia and Sadhvi Prachi also took part in the march. Those who took part in the yatra said that they are against women’s entry in the Sabarimala temple. AHP also demanded that Kerala state government should file a review petition in relation to the Supreme Court verdict and avoid implementing the judgment. They have also called for a Kerala bandh on October 18.
