National Film Development Corporation Limited – NFDC has announced that it will start accepting applications for funding of feature films under the Central Government scheme, ‘Production of films in various Indian languages’. In a statement, NDFC has informed that interested applicants can apply by visiting official website https://nfdcindia.com/apply-now/ and refer the Production Guidelines.
It adds that applicants will have to compulsorily send the complete application in hard copy to the Mumbai office of National Film Development Corporation. The applications can be submitted till the 8th of next month.
NFDC, established in 1975, has funded or coproduced 300 films, including such classics as Gandhi, Salaam Bombay and Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro. NFDC had helped launch careers of filmmakers such as Kundan Shah, Shyam Benegal, Govind Nihalani and others.
