CBSE declared the NEET result 2018 at absent.nic.in and case results.nic.in. With the NEET result declaration, CBSE has brought an end to the month-long wait of 13,26,725 candidates who had appeared for the exam on May 6, 2018.
The result of NEET has been released a day before the scheduled date. As per the exam timetable, the result was supposed to be declared tomorrow (June 5, 2018). NEET exam is conducted by CBSE to grant admission to MBBS/BDS Courses in India in Medical/Dental Colleges run with the approval of Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
Kalpana Kumari, the resident of Delhi scored the highest marks in this years’ NEET. She scored 99.99 percentile, according to the Central Board of Security Education, which conducts the exam for government and private medical and dental colleges.
Kumari got 171 marks out of 180 in physics, 160 in chemistry and 360 out of 360 in biology, which combined botany & zoology, to get 691 marks out of 720 in NEET results from 2018.
According to the board’s figures, more than 13 lakh candidates were registered for NEET 2018 on May 6 compared to 11.5 lakh last year. There are 60,000 seats in dental and medical institutes across the country.
