The National Independent School Alliance (NISA) has announced that provide schools are getting ready to go on a nationwide protest against discrepencies in the implementation of the Right to Education Act (RTE).
A major protest will be held at Ramlila Ground in New Delhi on April 7.
Announcing the news, NISA president Kulbhushan Sharma said more than one lakh school owners, principals and teachers would be joining the protest in Delhi.
Stating that the government disturbing the smooth running of the provate schools, Sharma said the government is not releasing fee reimbursment funds when the schools admit Economic Weaker Section (EWS) children under RTE Act.
He also said the school managements are held responsible every time an accident takes place. As a result of poor legal support, teachers are feeling unsafe, he added.
