Our Sacred Space marks its anniversary with health camp

Darur: Our Sacred Space, a cultural centre that started in Secunderabad opened an annexe in the picturesque Darur and marked its sixth anniversary by organising a health camp in association with Rotary Club of Secunderabad, Kisan Mitr (a wing of Centre for Sustainable Agriculture) and Seva Bharathi for the farmers in and around Darur recently.

Dr Padmini, Gynaecologist,  Dr Subash Rao, Orthopedic surgeon, Dr Colonel Ravichandran, general physician, Dr Sunitha Ravichandran,  Gynaecologist and Dr Sunitha Varnasii, general physician treated close to 300 persons who attended the camp from 20 villages.

The health check covered
anemia, screening for hypertension and diabetes,
screening for breast cancer. Konda Visweshwar Reddy, Chevella MP who was the chief guest said that India made substantial progress since  independence but yet is still plagued by malnutrition and unemployment. Our Sacred Space founder, Nayantara Nandakumar said that the cultural space would promote any activity that is based on sustainable development.
