Wooplr has conceptualised the campaign to celebrate the sense of ‘jugaad’ in young college-going individuals; Where students get the opportunity to be Wooplr’s Next CEO!
8th March 2018, Bangalore: Wooplr’s first edition of the month-long #CEOForAMonth campaign witnessed participation from a whopping 2 lakh plus college students, from 40 thousand colleges across India. Launched 2nd February 2018, it is has been a quite a successful swing for Wooplr’s hunt for their first student CEO.
A successful pan-Indian campaign at the undergraduate level, the results of Wooplr’s #CEOForAMonth will be announced on the 10th of March 2018, when the winner of the challenge will be unveiled, along with 20 other winners as city leads, who have proved their mettle in this challenge.
About #CEOForAMonth Campaign
The initial tasks during the campaign were such, which instigated in the participants, a sense of ambition and independence, by enabling them to open their own store, establish a customer base and generate sales. Once the stores are launched, milestones have been placed for certain sales targets, which if achieved, could fetch participants prizes ranging from a GoPro to a Trip to Amsterdam, from Wireless Headphones to gaming consoles – a total of prizes worth Rs.15 Lakhs.
Speaking of Wooplr’s #CEOForAMonth internship, Abhilash Mukherjee, a second year student pursuing Mass Communication at Presidency College, Bengaluru, says “This challenge is a first of its kind opportunity for students like me. I’ve always dreamed of making it on my own, but never had the backing to do so. Wooplr’s CEO internship is a golden chance to prove myself as well as learn a great deal about the nuances of being an entrepreneur and a leader.”
The final installment of the #CEOForAMonth challenge involves a task which tests a participant’s confidence and charisma. The mega winner of this month-long challenge wins the highest paid internship ever and becomes Wooplr’s Student CEO for a month, who will be working directly with Arjun Zacharia, Co-Founder, Wooplr. While other 20 winners will receive a paid internship with Wooplr as City heads.
