Panch pandavas will oust TRS govt: Laxman

Describing five MLAs of his party as “Pandavas”, State BJP president Dr K Laxman today said the “Panch Pandavas” would bring an end of the “dictatorial, corrupt and family rule of the TRS government”.

BJP Janachaitanya Yatra was aimed at doing justice to those who were subjected to injustice in the newly created Telangana State, Laxman said, adding that the Congress and TRS parties were afraid on seeing a huge response from the people to the BJP yatra. He said his party undertook the yatra to improve living conditions of poor, downtrodden, Dalits and BCs. He also accused KCR government of playing with lives of youth and ignored martyrs who sacrificed their lives for statehood. Though there are 40,000 teacher posts remaining vacant, the government failed to fill these posts, he lamented.

The State BJP chief alleged that Singur water was being supplied to other areas when the people of Patancheru and Sangareddy were facing scarcotu pf drinking water and for irrigation. The TRS government also diverted Central funds allotted for the development of Patancheru Assembly constituency.

Speaking to the media at the residence of former MLA Nandishwar Goud,  Laxman accused the TRS government of adopting anti-people policies. The Ration shop dealers in the State were agitating in support of their demands, he said. Later, he left for Medchal on the seventh day of his Janachaitanya yatra.
