Ever since he entered politics, actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan has been claiming that he is clean and that he is not in cohoots with either Telugu Desam Party or with Bharatiya Janata Party.
But, with the secret behind Pawan’s purchase of two acres of land for the construction of his new house in Amaravati coming into the open, he has been caught red-handed.
There are reports that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu had given the land to Pawan. Few days back when he was asked about the same, Pawan replied thus,”If Chandrababu has helped me, is Modi helping Jagan?”
Pawan, however, claimed that one of his supporters had given the land to him.
However, the social media is agog with information that the owner of the Lingamaneni Guest House, where Chandrababu is residing, had sold the land to Pawan for Rs 41.40 lakh at the rate of Rs 20 lakh per acre.
The owner of the guest house is one other than Lingamaneni Group Founder Chairman L.P. Bhaskara Rao, who is a close confidante of Chandrababu.
The sale price of the 2 acres of land is dispraportionate to the market value in the area. One square yard costs Rs 45 to Rs 50 lakh in the capital city region. Which means one acre of land there cost Rs 25 crore and two acres is valued at Rs 50 crore.
And Pawan claims that a Rs crore property has been sold for just Rs 40 lakhs. Who will believe it?
Also, It is common knowledge that all the lands in that region belong to TDP leaders or TDP sympathisers.
