Rahul Gandhi Pleads “Not Guilty” In Defamation Case

Today Rahul Gandhi pleaded”not guilty” in a defamation case filed by an RSS leader in Maharashtra.

Rajesh Kunte, an RSS worker, had filed the case in Bhiwandi in 2017 after watching the Congress president’s speech at an election rally.

Gandhi allegedly said in the rally that,”The RSS people had killed (Mahatma) Gandhi”.

Rahul reportedly said in court that he had indeed made those comments.

He arrived in Mumbai this morning on a two-day visit to Maharashtra and is expected to address party workers and interact with its corporators in the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation.
