AICC President Rahul Gandhi expressed grave concern over increasing attacks on media and journalists under the Narendra Modi regime at the centre.

Interacting with editors and senior journalists of both electronic and print media on Tuesday on the second day of his two-day visit to the state, Rahul Gandhi asserted that he was not against Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a person but was only opposed to his policies.

Rahul Gandhi exuded confidence about Congress coming back to power in Telangana State after the 2019 elections. The party may not come to power in Andhra Pradesh but it was definitely bouncing back and gaining in strength. As regards the Congress forging any alliance with other parties, he was not averse to consider tie up with any party which is in tune with his party’s policies. However, a decision regarding any tie up would be taken at the PCC level, he explained.
