Revanth Reddy resigns as MLA

Congress senior leader, Kodangal MLA  Revanth Reddy quit the MLA post on Thursday.   He forwarded his resignation letter in a speaker format to Assembly speaker Madhusudhana Chary stating that he had resigned to his membership with effect from September 6. Soon after quitting the TDP some months ago, Revanth had submitted the resignation letter to TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu.

However, Naidu did not forward the letter to the speaker. Since then his resignation was in pending. Now Anumula Revanth Reddy, surprising all, tendered resignation to his membership in the State Legislative Assembly. He said he has taken the decision this time in protest against the Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao’s style of functioning.
