Sensex, Nifty fall for third session in a row | news updates

Benchmarks Domestic indices, Sensex and Nifty, today fell for third session in row amid selloff in global equities. In afternoon trade Sensex at Bombay Stock Exchange lost 31 points to trade at 38,689. Nifty at National Stock Exchange also fell 23 points to trade at 11,536. The rupee, at forex market, also weakened marginally by three paise to around 68 rupees and 69 paise against the US dollar in afternoon deals.
