Stung by the bad publicity against the Bharatiya Janata Party led NDA goverment following uproar in the parliament for the past 10 days over special status to Andhra Pradesh and the resultant no-confidence motions moved by the Telugu Desam Party, YSRCP and the Congress Party and protests by the AIADMK members, the saffron party has finally agreed to discuss on this issue, sources said.
According to BJP sources, the safforn party is by now psychologically ready and is prepared to face the no-trust motions as it has the required bench strength.
In such a background, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi is said to be prepared to give a strong reply to TDP and YSRCP MPs on the issue of special status to Andhra Pradesh.
At the same time, Modi is expected to point out all the mistakes being done by the AP government, headed by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu during the Lok Sabha session either today or tomorrow. Modi is prepared to target Chandrababu in the Lok Sabha without naming him in this connection.
It is reported that the BJP has already taken suggestion from key persons in the party and trained those MPs of the saffron party who would be attacking MPs from the AP state and other opposition parties.
