TCS becomes 2nd Indian It firm to cross $100-bn market cap

India’s IT major Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) today became the second Indian IT firm to reach the $100-billion market capitalization milestone after the company reported better-than-expected quarterly results.

Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Industries was the first Indian firm to reach the $100-billion mark in October 2007, interestingly though it is currently valued at $89.7 billion.
