Since the advent of communication revolution in India, the number of Indians on social media platforms has reached to crores. Online working culture in India is increasing due to the cheapest internet plan and smartphone in the world. In such a situation, now the Modi Government is going to use the popular social media platforms Facebook and WhatsApp to train people in the field of education.
The name of the scheme is National Initiative on School Teacher’s Head and Holistic Advancement (NISHTHA). There is a plan to train about 42 lakh principals and teachers in the first phase. In fact, the aim of the Modi Government is that the teachers, teaching to the children, should be qualified and trained, so after becoming teachers, they are given excellent training.
Teachers will be given information related to studies in this training, as well as information related to POCSO Act and guidelines related to teaching of physically challenged. In the training given under ‘NISHTHA’, teachers will be trained in teaching in an interesting way as well as to increase their leadership capacity.
The Government is going to focus more on language, mathematics and social science in this training. It can be said that this scheme of training of the Modi Government will enable the teachers of small cities, towns and villages to get higher training, so that they can teach the students in a better way. At the same time, this training will also enhance the personality of the teachers and bring confidence in them.
