Stating that there is still one year’s time for the granting of a special status to Andhra Pradesh, senior South Indian actor Suman Talwar questioned AP politicians, “Why are you in a hurry for the Spl status?”
He then said, “As there is still one year’s time for the central government to fulfill its promise of granting the special status, it is meaningless of the politicians in indulging in unwanted activities.”
“It is not good on the part of the politicians to attack the centre when there is sufficient time for the grant of the special status. If the government fails to grant the status even after the remaining one year, then you people have the right to question the central government,” Suman said.
Suman then said if Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao invites him to join the Telangana Rashtra Samiti, he would gladly do so.
