TITA which has established itself as a credible platform to address the interests of the technology professionals is now spreading its wings to Canada, with its chapter.
A press note said that the association is primarily looking at four core areas where it wants to make concerted efforts. TITA will facilitate skilling and training to students in the areas of IT and ITeS to become job-ready. It is also looking at up-skilling those who are already employed in IT and ITeS industry to stay ahead of the competition. The association is also creating a platform professional connect so that there is knowledge sharing among the professionals who are spread across the world. It is also creating a network for entrepreneurs so that they can seek and build synergies, using Telangana Innovation and Incubation Centres (TIICs) as a means.
TITA is also encouraging professionals and entrepreneurs in Canada to give it back the home nation and State through its new chapter. TITA Global President Sundeep Kumar Makthala who is attending the chapter launch as a chief guest is going to stress on the need for people to adopt a village in Telangana with an aim to achieve digital literacy in the State.
Makthala appealed that its chapter should be seen as another useful tool for the growth of industry and professionals in the technology sector, rather than just another association setting up base in Canada. TITA will coordinate and collaborate with other associations in Canada and will work towards common goals that benefit the State and India at large.
Makthala is going to travel across Canada to visit schools, colleges and universities to study the education system. He will also study what Canada is doing to foster innovation and which of those models can be best replicated in Telangana. He will observe the startup ecosystem there and bring those learning and apply in Telangana for the benefit of the startups operating in the State.
TITA Canada chapter will become a platform to study the utilisation of the Rs 100 crore NRI Fund that Telangana has created by bringing all the key stakeholders on to one network. It will strive towards solving the problems of NRIs in Canada.
