TV anchor Suma urges people to contribute their mite for flood victims in Kerala


Ace TV anchor Suma urged the people to come forward to extend helping hand to the people of Kerala, who were in serious troubles due to unprecedented floods. Speaking to the media here on Monday, Suma said her native village Palghat in Kerala witnessed unprecedented floods this year. She said people across the nation, particularly southern States were coming forward, irrespective of caste and creed to extend help to the flood affected Keralites. She said Kerala suffered loss of lives and properties in the floods. She also said her relatives in Kerala were safe and were being shifted to safe place. She extended her compliments to the police, rescue operation teams, helping teams and the government for working hard to save the people stranded in floods.
