The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday, opened its probe in the rape of a 17-year-old girl in Unnao in Uttar Pradesh by questioning BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar, one of the accused, and registering the statement of the victim. The CBI has also recorded three different cases in the relation of Unnao rape case involving Sengar, his wife Shashi Singh and others.
 
Following to the CBI, Sengar was lead at the CBI office early on Friday when he vacated for Varanasi. a team along with UP cops pluck him up from an Indiranagar residence at around 4:30 am. Sengar was taken to the CBI headquarters in Lucknow. The CBI officers firm that he has not been arrested so far.
 
While the concern is worried about the destruction of proof in the case, Centre is not happy with UP DGP OP Singh’s handling of the case.
 
Sengar, a four-term MLA, enjoys huge influence fragment across party lines in the rural areas around Unnao district.
 
The CBI officials said that the first FIR regard to the asserted rape of the girl in which Sengar and a woman Shashi Singh was accused. The first case registered after taking over the enquiry of the case earlier registered at Makhi Police Station in Unnao district under varied sections of IPC and of POCSO Act on a complaint against a private person and an MLA, both residents of Makhi.
 
The second one concern to rampage, in that four local persons, are arrested, and also supposed to kill the victim’s father in judicial custody. as the murder charge was added next by the police, it does not reflect in the CBI FIR.
 
The third case related that to the accusation against the victim’s father who was arrested under arms act and put in jail by the local police where he died mysteriously. He also suffered serious trauma as per the post-mortem report.
 
The agency has referred that the thing happened on Thursday took immediate action by re-registering the UP police FIRs and brought the four-time MLA to its Lucknow office at around 5 am for interrogation.
 
The team of officials would visit the scene of the crime and question jail officials, police officials and family members of the MLA.
 
According to the rules of the CBI re-registers FIRs of the state police while taking over the inquiry but remains that the ability to come to its own conclusions which are filed by before a special court in its final record that either be a closure report or a charge sheet.
 
The victim supposed that she was raped by the MLA at his residence on June 4, 2017, where she has gone with a relative seeking a job. In February, the girl’s family moved to court seeking to include the MLA’s name in the rape claim. After register, the case, the victim’s father was booked by the police under the arms act on April 3, 2018. and demanded to put in jail on April 5. Frustrated with the alleged inaction and intimidation from powerful people, the victim attempted self-immolation in front of Chief Minister Yogi Aditynath’s home on April 8 which made heads.
 
After a day, her father died in jail with postmortem reported that serious injuries on his body.
