Vacant seats in minority institutions to be given to BCs

 The Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao said his government has initiated and implementing several programs for the uplift of the Backward Classes and Residential schools have been started on a large scale. From next year, in addition to the existing schools, 119 more residential schools will be opened. Vacant seats in the Minorities residential schools, if any, will also be allotted to BC students. “Every effort should be made to provide quality education to the BC children”, he added.

The Chief Minister held a review meeting in Pragathi Bhavan on Saturday morning for welfare of the Backward Classes.
