Mystery shrouds the name of the author of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s book Mann Ki Baat: A Social Revolution on Radio.
The Press Information Bureau (PIB) on May 25 last year claimed that Modi’s book was authored by Rajesh Jain, a former aide to Modi, who was at that time working with Bluekraft Digital Foundation, which used to organise Modi’s ‘Mann ki Baat’ radio broadcasts.
But Rajesh Jain strongly refuted the claim and said he neither compiled or authored the book on ‘Mann ki Baat’.
Confirming Jain’s statement, former union minister Arun Shourie said Jain is his friend. Jain clearly told Shourie that he was unnecessarily dragged into the book release function and was given a speech to read.
Shourie said Jain surprised to see his name as the author of the book. Jain is currently in Mumbai.
If he is not the author, then who is the author of Modi’s ‘Mann ki Baat’ book? Who will lift the shroud on the mystery over the authorship of Modi’s book?
May the real author to step forward to stake claim to the authourship of the book.
