Will Jacks hits 25-ball century during T10 match in Dubai

Surrey batsman Will Jacks thrashed six sixes in an over on his way to a 25-ball century in a pre-season 10-over friendly against Lancashire in Dubai. Reportedly the fastest ever hundred in a match between two professional sides and the first ever in the T10 format, Jacks’ innings, in which he finished on 105 from 30 deliveries, will not go into the official record books.

It was nevertheless an incredible display of batting from the 20-year-old, who bludgeoned eight fours and 11 sixes, six of which came in a single over off Lancashire slow left armer Stephen Parry. Jacks went to his first 50 off only 14 balls before requiring a further 11 to reach three figures as he helped the county champions to a victory in a sprint format that is becoming increasingly popular.
