YSRC Legislature to meet today to elect Jagan as its leader

The YSR Congress Legislature party will meet in Amaravathi today to elect party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy as its leader unanimously. All the newly elected 151 party MLAs will attend the meeting. Party members from the Legislative Council have also been asked to attend the meeting. After the legislature party meeting, there will be a meeting of YSR Congress Parliamentary party.

Later, Mr Reddy accompanied by party leaders will leave for Hyderabad to meet Governor ESL Narasimhan in the evening.  He will submit the list of party MLAs to the governor and stake his claim to form the government.

 Party sources informed that Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy may leave for Delhi from there to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Before the swearing-in ceremony, Jagan Reddy is planning to visit his constituency Pulivendula to pay homage at his father’s Samadhi.
