YSRCP MPs resign from Lok Sabha

YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) member of parliament (MPs) today submitted their resignations from Lok Sabha to speaker Sumitra Mahajan to protest the “failure” of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government to grant special category status to Andhra Pradesh.

YSRCP MPs like Vara Prasada Rao PV Midhun Reddy, YS Avinash Reddy, and V, Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy, submitted their resignation letters to Lok Sabha to Speaker Sumitra Mahajan. Few more YSRCP MPs are expected to submit their resignation letters to the Speaker soon.

On March 31, YSRCP chief Jaganmohan Reddy announced that his party’s MPs will quit and sit on indefinite hunger strike in New Delhi to press for the Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh.
